College Math Tutor, Economics Tutor, Engineering Tutor – When no one else can, Newcastle will…
The Launch Education Blog posted some tips for “Staying Smart This Summer.” We think some of their suggestions are good ways to review your courses as well. Here are some important and fun ways to keep your mind active:
Books: Keep some of your textbooks and notes lying around. They may be safer in a box somewhere, but they’re way more useful to you if you read them. Also, visit a local college’s library this summer to see if you can get access to supplemental materials or textbooks you may not have at home.
Documentaries: Search online for documentaries related to your courses from last year for an easy way to stay knowledgeable, or look up some about next year’s classes to get a head start. You can look for interesting, related presentations on Ted Talks (www.Ted.com).
Podcasts: They are easy, portable, inexpensive (often free), and available on an unlimited array of topics.
Internet: Type in a question about “something you’d like to understand better,” from a math concept to a business approach to a year in history. The internet is full of answers. To get personalized help over the internet in understanding a variety of subjects, contact Newcastle Tutors.
